Stokes skiers out in force at Vladimir Filin Memorial jump event

The jump event in moscow was a success for stokes skiers.  Bojan Schipner (3rd), Jacinta (Rabbit) carrol (1st), Maj Jepsen (4th), Thomas Asher (5th), and Scot Ellis (9th).

All had a good event in the stokes gear.  Jacinta carrol coming from an Ozzie winter to claim first prize with some good consistent jumpng.  Maj Jepsen coming off a Danish summer, although conditions over there have been far from summery.  She will be looking now to the European championships in recetto.

bojan Schnipner got his first podium place with some very nice jumping.  Bojan was incredibly happy with the finish and very happy with the new design jumpsuit for 2013.

Thomas Asher had an off day in the first round and came out early to post 59.1m.  He also will be looking for the podium at the European Championships in 2 weeks.

Scot Ellis had a great first round, posting 62.3m.  Unfortunately in the final scot had an equipment malfunction and lost his jump binding when passing the jump.  the binding had come loose on his first jump and ripped off the ski on the 3rd jump.  Scot though has been in amazing form this year.  He will be looking to bounce back at the Malibu open this weekend coming up.
